Located in the beautiful conservation spa town of Moffat, Dumfriesshire, Morlich house is a graceful Victorian era manor, situated in half an acre of mature gardens, and sheltered by mature limes, copper beech and Canadian maples - perfect for afternoon tea or coffee in the summer months.
Built in 1840 by a Glasgow mill owner as his country residence, Morlich retains much of it's original splendour today. Acquired by Bill and Margaret in November 2005, the house has been lovingly refurbished to a very high standard, with a sympathetic view to it's original character and general ambience - the kitchen's working cast iron range being a perfect example.
The 3 bedrooms have been individually, tastefully and elegantly decorated - new en-suite facilities with quality showers have been installed and all have tea and coffee making facilities, televisions, hairdryers and fluffy white dressing gowns as standard.
Morlich House has excellent and ample private car parking, along with secure and undercover garaging for motorcycles and cycles. Drying facilities for wet walking gear, biker kit and country sports clothing are available - we can even do you a packed lunch.
Morlich House is situated in some of Scotland's most stunning countryside - visit us soon and enjoy the sea of tranquillity that is Morlich House.
